Dr. Thomas Lengyel- Senior Pastor
Pastor Thomas and his wife Maggie have been married for eleven years. They met in middle school right here in San Diego. Despite his many awkward hair cuts and wrinkled outfits, Maggie still maintained a soft spot for him. Years later, they reconnected while out with friends, and have never looked back. They have two beautiful children. A six year old daughter named Sparrow and a two year old son named Odyssey. Their favorite things to do are to go to the ZOO and look at the animals, or walk around Balboa Park and check out the Museums.
Troy Norling- Campus Pastor
Pastor Troy and his wife Liz have been married for 34 years. They met as teenagers at Hume Lake Christian Camp. A “summer camp romance” has turned into a life long love affair. They are blessed to be the parents to Caleb, who, in spite of his disability (Cerebral Palsey) brings the joy of knowing Jesus everywhere he goes. Their favorite things to do are to attend Padre games, go to Caleb’s shows at the theatre, or most often, spend quiet nights at home.
Justin Rice- Recovery Pastor
Pastor Justin and his wife Laura have been married for over 15 years. They met while attending a young adults service at College Ave Baptist Church where Justin was serving in youth ministry. After 2 years of dating they were married in 2008 while Justin led worship for different churches, and other ministries before landing at Legacy Church in 2013. That same year they welcomed their first son Andrew, and 3 years later their second son Zachary. Family life is full with youth sports and church and family activities. They enjoy traveling and discovering new and delicious restaurants along their travels.
