MORNING SERVICES Sundays 8:30 & 10 am in La Mesa & 10:45 am at Tierrasanta
As well as an Online Sunday Service 10 am
Legacy is an intergenerational church with all kinds of opportunities to serve and grow spiritually. There is something for every age and something for every level. So if this is all new to you, chances are you’ll find something helpful just for you. And if you’re looking for some advanced, high commitment options – we have those, too.
Sunday is the day when most events and activities take place for our children. The best and safest connecting point is to attend Legacy Kids at LA MESA at 8:30 a.m. & 10:30 a.m. and at TIERRASANTA at 10:45 am
Legacy Kids is rich in learning about the Bible and how it applies to normal life stuff. Lots of fun activities, recreation, teaching, and group singing is part of the steady diet each Sunday morning. For all ages nursery thru 5th grade!
Here’s one of the best ways to “connect” with people who attend Legacy Church. And there are many options to pick from— women’s or men’s small groups, “multiply” groups, sermon-based small groups, open share groups at Celebrate Recovery, personal discipleship, and elective topical studies. You’ll be surprised at how many options are available!
Truly, one of the most important things we do. A solid core of prayer warriors weekly pray for the needs of individuals and the entire church ministry. Intercessions (praying for others) keep Legacy attenders focused on how God changes and affects the lives of those for whom we pray. Experience the thrill of answered prayer regularly!
Legacy’s youth ministry creates a warm, caring environment where friendships are built and God’s truths are proclaimed and discussed for deeper meaning and application. Middle School, grades 6 – 8. High School, grades 9 – 12. Lots of activities throughout the week. Retreats and camps (especially Hume Lake!) are part of the regular repertoire of purposeful and fun events year around.
We’re a church actively engaged in the life of our community and beyond! Local schools, the needy, the homeless, and the chemically addicted all receive varying forms of benevolence, help, and encouragement through Legacy’s community service ministries. Celebrate Recovery meets every Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. at the Legacy TIERRASANTA campus, an on Thursdays at the LA MESA at 6;30 p.m.
Grief Share happens annually for those who’ve lost a loved one. Professional Christian Counseling is also available on a sliding-scale with the expertise of a fully recognized MFT Therapist.
